The installations file Wizard wisc27 ... by desk top author is infected with the above trojan horse (4 x). AVG cannot repair because of the size of the file. I cannot delete the file because it was too expensive. I cannot find any reference to this particular virus anywhere.
Any splendid idea what I can do?

Thanks for that, Harry; I sent my yesterday's email before reading the guide lines.

My system is Windows XP with SP3. I use the latest AVG version as well as
Spyware Doctor. I also have Hijack This installed, but have no clue how to use it.
AVG noticed the infection, bit could not get rid of it. I have googled this virus, but it seems to be unknown. Trust me, I checked the spelling!
It is in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Wise Installation Wizard WISC27B94AA60AB4B509D630928CDC889C3_6_5 _1.MSI
The program was supplied by Desk Top Author.

What do you suggest I should do?
