you have no use.

were you around when CGA was "Primary"?

I have yearbooks going from 1960 to 1990. and the focus of all the computer-related progress was business and learning applications.

Sorry but I'm more apt to believe the articles made at the time then wikipedia.

smeezekitty has the typical Aspie trait of thinking he is the only person in the world, and that "everybody I know" is equivalent to "everybody", and that "everything I know" [or think I know] is equivalent to "everything". Unfortunately it is also a key trait of bumptious twerps with too much time on their hands.

        heh, ironically enough.

Really, for something historical like that- you simply cannot trust the internet at all.

Take the common held misconception that Bill gates said "640K should be enough for everybody" but he didn't. this lie is perpetuated by the internet and those who take whatever is said anywhere on it as gospel.

In either case- If I had to choose between, say, learning about world war 2 from a book written a year ago, compared to run written during and after the war, I'd have to choose the latter, although it would likely be devoid of facts known later on- those it did contain would probably be true (or at the very least NOT entirely based on conjecture).

The main thing NOT to look up on wikipedia is "controversial" stuff. Take the evolution article for instance...

sort of what I was meaning about the whole thing.  It just varies on the matter at hand.
