    watching videos
    « on: September 01, 2009, 05:49:11 PM »
I'm using Microsoft Vista & just in the last few days I have had my videos(like you tube) start & pause then start & pause etc.
    Can I fix this?

unplug it from power wait 15seconds and plug it back in
note: it may need reconfiguring but lets just assume not
if you dont have internet withen 5 minits of reseting it you will probubly need to reconfig it

if its a fairly modern router it will auto config and you dont need to worry
just unplug the router for a while
plug it back in and try the videos again
also check your signal strength (click on the two computeres with the world between them on the taskbar
and check how many bars you get)

you really don't know how much I appreciate your help. It is a
new router (about 6 months or less) so it should just reboot
or reconf when I unplug it and then start it again. I was scared
for a minute when you said reconfigure, but I guess with this
forum I could find an answer for that too. This is like finding
the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for me. So many
little questions and now I know where I can find help.
            TY,TY,TY :) :)

It sounds like there buffering. Next time you watch something on youtube just pause it and watch the dark red line move up. If you need help with your internet connection then I'm more than happy to help.
