Personally i'd start looking at new cases as right now you are limited to a miniATX board which gives you far less options...
Many ATX full size cases will accept both styles of board.

The OP wanted to know what would fit in his case and was given reasonable ideas..

if somebody asked what the best brand of potatoes is for storing in their jute sack with large holes, would we be wrong to suggest they get a new sack?

If the OP wanted a larger sack for his "potatoes" then he would have taken up patios advice the first time patio posted, but of course, what the hel* does it matter what I think..

huh?

oh, smeezekitty.

nevermind him.

Smeezekitty- we're not being asses. block_head/hot dogs recommendations were NOT precluded by a suggestion to get a new case, so I'm not sure why he took it personally, as it would appear. And of course, it's up to the OP wether they wish to follow any advice (and it would appear that block_head was offering the most "devoted" assistance. Anyway, and in all likelyhood the OP will be smart enough to know that post count/rank doesn't matter, especially in the case where they only offer single sentence suggestions or silly analogies involving potato sacks.

The simple reason i suggested another case is strictly to give you more choices...i wasn't telling you what to do.
With a full size ATX case you would be able to choose ATX MBoards and/or mini ATX MBoards...

With a mini ATX case you do not have that option.

*censored* does this mean?

if you needed to, you could scrap the parts in one of the cases, probably not worth the effort though.

Alright then, just go with the suggestions Block_head (now listed as hot dog) gave you, he was quite thorough.

You're proposing to replace a motherboard and processor, and maybe a power supply, in a computer.  So, how would using one of the other cases you have be too much effort?  Can you not make to effort to remove and/or install a few other components if necessary?

I have 3 amd cases And i have 3 intel cases.. each case has parts of somekind but theyre too old and im in no mood to keep up with a slug pc.

If you put new or newer components in one of those old cases, then it wouldn't be a "slug pc", would it?   ::)
