Error installing software - multiple users logged on?

I have Vista Home Premium on my HP Laptop.  I'm trying to install software, but keep getting an error that multiple users are logged onto the machine. 

The problem is, I only have one user created on the machine, the Administrator.  I do not have the guest account enabled. 

Anyone know what might be causing this error?  Could it be the fast switch user function even though I don't have any other user accounts? T

I would definately suggest disabling the Fast User Switching service, if you will be the only one using this laptop.
Can you post a screen shot of the error that you are getting?

I gave up on this for a while, but am trying again.  I've removed fast user switching (by adding a dword key something to the registry).  But I still get the attached error when trying to install software.  Anyone know why this might be happening?

Go into your services and check to see if Fast User Switching is running or not.
