No way will you run it on a 350w psu.  Its actually really easy to use 2 power supplies, it just looks bad.  I would recommend to just get a new one thats around 500-600w. Dont get a really cheap $20 one either. The only reason I have a 1kw psu is because it was on sale for around the same price as a 750.

Alright, I'll try rigging up an adapter for my 500W PSU (80$ Modular power supply :D). Thanks for all your help.

Somewhat true.  A crappy low amp 600w psu wont be able to power a gpu with a lower power requirement like 500w.  But still, a 350w with tons of amps still wont be able to power a gpu with a power requirement of like 500w.  Anyways 350w psus dont have many amps to begin with.  The only ones with 20 amps are around $150 anyways.  You could buy a 1000w for the same price

It's not the volts (watts) It's the amps

Did you even read the rest of the thread? The adapter was to convert the 20-pin molex that his 500w PSU has to a 24-pin one.

Sadly, my local computer store doesn't have any adapters, and buying from Newegg will result in a shipping cost exceeding the cost of the actual part.

I read here that you can just plug in a 20pin connector into a 24pin motherboard and it should work as long as you don't pull too much wattage from the motherboard. Any opinions on that? I'm considering doing that since I don't feel like spending 10 dollars on an adapter, and I can't find any female Molex connectors to make an adapter with.

Either get the adapter or get a new power supply.
