    Laptop wont charge.
    « on: September 25, 2009, 01:22:15 AM »
So i had posted here a while ago about how my laptop battery had died and just wouldnt go past 5 percent. Well now i bought a new battery and charged it too full and then when i turned it on it wasnt plugged in so when i check battery life it was at 95% but it has been pluged in and on for the past hour and it still is at 95%. Could this be something wrong with my laptop or with my charger? Thank you for any help anyone can offer.

Maybe I don't understand your question but if it is plugged in it is always charging.

As the battery is approaching full charge, the charging current is reduced.  That last 5% can take hours.

It has now been plugged in for over 12 hours and is still at 95%. It says its charging but it doesnt move from that point.

Return new battery for warranty replacement.
