LOCK WARNING
« on: May 05, 2004, 09:31:25 AM »
How do u unlock the C drive.  I get a warning and when I try to press either Y or N, nothing happens.  I tried the suggestion on the help page, but not specific enough.  This warning occurred when trying to install a PC camera.  ???

WINDOWS 95
WARNING: The LOCK command enables direct access by programs
that can CORRUPT file names and/or DESTROY disk data, resulting in the
loss of files on your disk.

Are you sure (Y/N)?

Out of my range of knowledge.  Have you scanned for spyware and viruses?  What about Microsoft.com.  I don't suppose there's a number associated with the error or anything in the title bar that could shed some light?  Does the camera ever finally get installed?  What about drivers for the camera, can you check for new ones from the manufacturer?

I cannot even get past the screen that gives the warning message.  When I hit Y or N, nothing happens.
