Deleting Files more than 3 months old
« on: May 05, 2004, 05:22:25 AM »
I am trying to fathom out a way of being able to remove files more than 3 months old from a directory as part of a housekeeping batch script.

Any ideas would be appreciated...

Ta ???

There is probably a "work around" method but much depends on whether the files are all "disposable" or whether the directory also contains "keepers" such as com, exe, dll, and ini files.

I have since found out how to do this. Use the utility forfiles.exe, this can be found in the NT Resource kit. ;D
