    hope this hasn't been asked before, but search didn't turn up with anything good...
    did something specific happen on that date?  It had the most users online ever....

      yeah ok.  But i thought there might have been something special.  Like an event, or some sort of CH record "Most Users Online" (spoken in a deep, echoing voice ;))

      you asked why were so many people on that date that's why i think there were

      People like to look up stuff like that solar eclispses and when they will happen and what are going to be the phrases of the moon and while all these people were using there computers they realized there computers had a problem so they went to a computer help sight like this it looks like two and two to me.


      Edit i just put the thread right after the this happend about the new record and they were talking about the solar eclispe that day to people wanted to talk about it christmas holloween and stuff like that are going to bring in higher numbers because people want to talk about there christmas and holloween on forums and such.

        erm james: there are things called sentences, the usually average 10-15 words, ending with a full stop/period (".").  not to be harsh or anything.  noo, on the other hand, you remind me of St. Paul and his loong sentences in his letters :).

        . is a full stop, the sentence has paused.
        , is a pause, the reader waits a moment, then continues on until he or she reaches a period.
