Registry Key for Sound Card

HI,
I want to know about the registry key relating to the sound cards.
Suppose i have connected 2 or more sound cards in my PC and i want to select which sound card to use from
windows registry. For this i do not know which registry to change.
Pls help me with this.
I want it very badly....

Why would you want or need to do that?  And if you do need to do that (music feeds or whatever) I don't think doing it in the registry is the best idea.

I am developing a application, wherein one of the option is to select the sound card from many of the connected card. To do this i thought enabling the selected sound card from win reg is better.

If you have a better idea please let me know.

I doubt if I have a better idea but some of the people on this forum that can help you will proably need more information on what the application is you are trying to develop.

The application is used for play and record. This is developed in Labview.
I want to give an option to select the sound card also. This is where i am struck....
