Youtube Troubles

Okay basically I have a two gmail accounts and one youtube account.

The Youtube account is linked to Gmail A.

How, if possible, can I change it so the Youtube account is linked with Gmail B?

Otherwise, does anyone know a way I can separate the Youtube account from the Gmail account, or even have two different passwords for the gmail and youtube account?


Reason for this:
I've a Youtube account which I have to share with a group of people. However, my gmail account is also linked to that youtube account. I don't want them to have access to my personal email.

You can log into gmail with youtibe credentials? There should be some way to de-link the accounts.

I don't think it is possible to log into gmail via youtube accounts because it asks for a GOOGLE account, not google or linked youtube account. Carbon, you don't need to worry unless they can access you email with the credentials you gave them. The youtube-google link is actually just a google account shortcut to your youtube account (so you can log in easier).

Yes, it is possible to unlink Youtube and your Gmail Account. To do it...

1. first log into your youtube account.

2. go to your account (here is direct link, provided you've logged in already ... http://www.youtube.com/account#manage/status)

3. click on arrow next to "Unlink youtube and google accounts"

You should see the following ....

7. Click the Unlink YouTube and Google Accounts link and then follow the directions given from there on (if any more are given)
