TV Tuner and Laptop

Ok I'm looking for a laptop for $1000-$2000 that will be fast enuff to save movies as well as copy screen shots of my xbox games.

I also like to use Photoshop alot for editing images and I play some games but nothing with great graphics (just football simulations, besides being resource hogs they arent bad)

Last but not least, I'd like to be able to get online at my favorite hot spots... A guy on the chat suggested these two things below:

my concern with this is the recuirements for the TV Tuner is 700 GHz while the laptop only has 500... isn't that right? Any better computer suggestions I will take happily...
