I am running Windows Vista and I use Google Chrome. More often than not, when I click on a link on a Google search, it will redirect me to a random website for about half a second, then another one with the search results of my original search on another website. For example, when I search "Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy beta", then click on one of the links, it redirects me to "
http://sopranoclarinet.com/result.php?Keywords=Sins+of+a+Solar+Empire:+Diplomacy&r=19a62d05d0c76434e38e49a4a1ecec8b19e5d049d86ffbd91fc1205cb0a9d7edc0dd9aa83a2b3ed1e84eee14de24d78c&Submit=Go", then it directs me to "
http://www.lowpriceshopper.com/about-solar/shop?rf=llp". When I hit the "back" button, the browser will either show some "generic" website like "
www.Corporatehousingproviders.org" or a site that will say "your page is loading" and then will direct me back to the site that I was on before pressing the "back" button. These problems can be avoided by right-clicking the link on the Google search and opening it in a new tab. For the most part, the "major" sites such as Google, Yahoo, Miniclip, Wikipedia, etc. are fine, but the "smaller", lesser known sites are affected. I have McAfee (the one Comcast gives out for free) and I have run two full scans, both of which have come back negative. Please advise.
