cant login as admin

i downloaded hijackthis clicked on install i got this error message  c:\vlcj.exe is not valid win32 application

Try running it from the Desktop...

i tried my avg and defender pro but it says i need full privileges to complete log on as administrator and i cant

Boot to safemode w/networking to do updates and run scans...
If that does not work DLoad the neccessary tools on another machine and transfer them with a USB drive...

Try a system restore to before the date limeware was installed (if possible).

Then try running the scans again.

i tried ti restore it says i don't have sufficient security to restore. I can't do anything because I can't access the administrator
