Authoritative means "can be relied on". When doing an nslookup, an authoritative answer would only come a name server which has been configured to be in charge of the domain, while a non authoritative answer would come from the rest of the NSs in the world. It is an answer that they received after asking somebody else or using their cache and are forwarding to you, not an answer that they are responsible for.

Microsoft.com.imran does not exist. So you got 81.200.64.50 which is the Ip address of advancedsearch.virginmedia.com

What are you trying to do?

If you are on dsl or cable you obtain one automatically. You do not have to do anything. You would only see that message if your dns was working. If virginmedia are telling you there is no problem maybe you need to get your phone line checked by BT.
