I hate celebrities.
Apart from Dr. Phil.
"And who is proving most effective in figuring out how to eradicate those calamities? In different ways, it is Bill and Melinda Gates, co-founders of the world's wealthiest charitable foundation, and Bono, the Irish rocker who has made debt reduction sexy," Time's managing editor Jim Kelly writes.
Either Jim Kelly has played Will in Will & Grace or the human race has hit a new low.
"And who is proving most effective in figuring out how to eradicate those calamities?
I am certain that showing up on television once in a while getting others to spend money on a goal you think is necessary even though you make more money per quarter than all the consumers who like your product would in 1 year is a more noteworthy act than, say, flying doctors who actually bother to spend more than 10 minutes aiding poor people world wide. Or any other charity, for that matter.
I guess Bono truly is a great person. Even though he makes Rock 'n Roll music, which is kind-of associated with sex and drugs. So in a way, Bono's making blood money and is now forcing it onto people he was previously unable to reach due to their lack of money.
If you look at that way - he's nothing more but a money laundering criminal who's looking for an extra few minutes of fame.
I told you celebrities can't be trusted. *censored*. Now look what happened.
