I downloaded some of these free burners, but they only hold like 15 or so mp3 songs on a cd, when I had nero 7 I could put at least 130 or so mp3s on a cd.

Windows 7 does not support nero 7 at this time. Any free burners out there that will work like nero 7, or am I doing something wrong ?

ok, I figured it out. You click on( make a data cd) or( data cd) drag and drop your mp3 songs and and there you have it. I fit 107 mp3 songs on one CD and still had room to spare.

I absolutely concur with patio's suggestion. I could list about 15 (paid and free) that i have used over many years and i now exclusively use his recommendation and have yet to have any issues with it. By the way alternatively to drag and drop you can just open the file location of your music that you want to burn (from the option in the upper part of the program where you can select source). Click on the track and click on "add" from the options of the program. If once you have burned the track(s) and you no longer want to keep them on your computer just click on the track to be removed in the open file location above and delete it while you still have the program open. You will be returned to that program window after you have successfully burned your CD. Also by deleting the ones you had (for the burn) in the lower window you can start a new configuration for a new burn without closing and reopening the program again. The only element the program does not provide (if you desire it) is a label creation component. Enjoy. truenorth
