Cables
When looking at purchasing a floppy
drive, ensure it is included with the necessary cables. Most
computers will already have a floppy cable; however, if you are
building a computer, this cable will likely be needed.
Type
Consider different options. Today, the
floppy drive is slowly becoming extinct and there are other options,
such as the ImationSuper
Disk drive. This drive allows for the computer to read standard
floppy disks and can also read special 120MB floppy diskettes.
Before considering the Imation Super Disk drive, ensure that your BIOS
will support this option.
