January 15 2001 - 3DFX with plans on dissolving the company.

December 15 2000 - NVIDIA Corporation announced today that it will acquire certain related assets of 3Dfx interactive.

November 20 2000 - 3DFX will no longer be manufacturing video cards. Instead will now focus only on the chipset of video cards for other manufacturers.
