Issue

Share my CD-ROM drive in Windows 3.x.

Solution

Ensure that your MS-DOS driver is loading in the Config.sys, that you also have MSCDEX.EXE version 2.21 or higher, and in the autoexec.bat the MSCDEX line ends with /s.

If you are running Novel NetWare with Windows for Workgroups, also ensure that MSCDEX is loading before MSPIX.

After making the above modifications reboot the computer and select the CD-ROM drive, then in File manager choose share from the Disk menu.
