Cause
Users who may have protected their e-mail file may have forgotten their password and no longer have access to the password file.
Solutions
Microsoft Outlook 9x users
Users who have forgotten their password and are using Microsoft Outlook 9x (97 or 98) can utilize the Microsoft Outlook password strip file available through our updates page.
Microsoft Outlook 2xxx users
Unfortunately, we are unfamiliar with an easy method or recovering the Microsoft Outlook 2xxx password. If you have mistakenly lost your password for Microsoft Outlook 2xxx, unfortunately the data is unrecoverable.
