Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook only places attachments at the bottom pane of an e-mail if the message is in "HTML" or "plain text" format. If you want your attachments to be placed in the body of an e-mail, compose it in "Rich Text" format. To change the format of your Microsoft Outlook e-mails, follow the steps below.

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Click the Tools menu and then Options.
  3. Click the Mail Format tab.
  4. Click the down arrow on Send in this message format and select Microsoft Outlook Rich Text.
