BeReal

BeReal is a social network that claims to be the first of its kind in that it is "not fake." BeReal randomly notifies its users to "get real" and take a picture of what they're doing at that moment. Furthermore, by not allowing its users to post Photoshopped or otherwise edited pictures, people are shown a more realistic view of those whom they follow. Also, because the prompts to post are randomized each day, users cannot plan events for the sole purpose of uploading them to a social network.

Because BeReal wants the real you, the app has no filters. The app also doesn't have likes, videos, stories, or direct messaging.
