Cascading hubs

Term used to describe the practice of adding additional ports when an existing hub/switch has run out of ports. A second hub/switch is connected from its uplink port to any of the regular ports on the 1st hub/switch by means of a regular network cable ( 4 pair twisted cable )/( Cat5 ).
