DC

  1. Short for Direct Current, DC is an electrical current that flows unidirectional. The electrical flows in DC are from the negative terminal to the positive terminal.
  2. DC or D/C is also sometime an abbreviation used for disconnect, a term used to describe any type of connection that is lost. For example a user may disconnect from an online service after signing off or may be disconnected because they loose their Internet connection.
