Emo
Short for emotional, emo is a slang term used to describe a person and his or her fashion statement or personality. When referring to the persons fashion statement or clothing an emo is an individual who often wears a lot of black or dark clothes and a haircut with bangs that cover half the face often over one eye. When referring to a persons personality an emo is used to describe a person who is angry, depressed, lonely, or shy and can even escalate to a person who self mutilates, such as cutting themselves.
