  1. Term used to describe the process of inserting an object into a device or moving data into another location. For example, when inserting paper into a printer, it can also be known as feeding paper into the printer.
  2. A program or page that provides another program with information automatically. For example, a news website may have a news feed that provides the latest news headlines to another program or page. Users can link to the Computer Hope news articles posted on our news sites by visiting our news link section.
