1. Pronounced as two separate letters, IT is short for Information Technology and is a broad term for all forms of technology that describes a department in control of handling or supporting a computer company. This department is also sometimes known as MIS.
2. Short for Iran Time.
3. IT was a code name for the highly speculated device that was later officially known as the Segway HT.
