Shorthand for Meet In Real Life,
MIRL is used in chat and other text-based communication where
one or more users want to meet other users they're talking to.
Anytime you plan on meeting someone you don't know apart from in
chat it's a good idea to go with friends and/or meet in a public
place. If you're under 18 you should also make sure your parents or
guardian knows about your plans to meet this person. LMIRL
(Lets Meet In Real Life) and WMIRL (Want to Meet In
Real Life or Wanna Meet In Real Life) are other commonly
used abbreviations associated with MIRL.
