MMC

Short for MultiMediaCard, MMC is
a memory card available as flash memory and ROM used in such devices as car radios, cell phones, digital cameras, PDAs, MP3 players, and printers. Today, there are various variations and sizes of the MMC card such as the MMCplus (MMCP) and MMCmobile / MMCmicro (MMCM).
In the picture to the right, is an example of a Kingston MMCM 1GB card. - Short for Microsoft Management Console, MMC is a program included with Windows 2000 and above that enables administrators a central location to manage and control all the tasks in Windows. If you have administrative rights, you can access this portion of Windows by clicking Start, Run, and typing mmc and pressing enter.
