Nudge
- In Adobe Photoshop, nudge is a feature that allows an object to be moved. For example, if you're working with a layer you can press the arrow keys to nudge that object in the direction you want one pixel at a time. Holding down the shift key and pressing an arrow key will nudge that layer 10 pixels at a time.
- When referring to the MSN Instant Messenger (IM), a nudge refers to a feature that alerts a user with a noise and a shaking window. A nudge may be received by a friend trying to get your attention when wanting to talk and can interrupt anything being done on the computer, including playing a game.
