Persistence

Persistence may refer to any of the following:
1. In general, persistence is continuing to try something, even though it is hard. For example, you may continue to learn about computers even though they're hard.
2. With a computer display, persistence is the time required for the phosphor in a CRT (cathode ray tube) display to lose all its charge.
