A red pill may refer to any of the following:

Choice between a red pill and blue pill.

1. The term "red pill" refers to the movie The Matrix where Morpheus offers Neo a choice between two colored pills: blue and red. Taking the blue pill would allow him to continue his current reality, whereas taking the red pill would allow him to see life and the world as they truly are. Neo decides to take the red pill.

Today, some may say something similar to "take the red pill" to tell others they need to break away from the traditional way of thinking.

2. When describing a men's rights movement, the "red pill community" is a group of individuals who believe that dating and marriage are intended to solely benefit women. In 2016, a documentary called "The Red Pill" was released about this topic.
