Slot load disc drive
A
type of disc drive that has no caddy or tray and allows the computer user to
insert the disc into a thin hole. In the picture to the right, is an example of
a slot loading disc drive on the side of an Apple
iMac computer. If no eject button is visible next to the slot on the disc drive,
it must be ejected using the operating system.
