Ok, I had to reformat my computer, and I made it go from Windows 98 to Windows 98SE (my step dad did it really) and now it says I can only have 2 colors or 16 colors, as opposed to 256 or whatever the other choice is, I can't remember. Anyway, it won't let me change the colors, or the screen size.... And I have no idea what to do, but I've been "researching" this for a few hours and everywhere else says something about downloading the driver (whats that?) for it and it should work. My video thingie says "Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA)"..... Help... Please... :'(

You need to install the video drivers......you may have the disks to do this .....have a look around......drivers disks....recovery disks.....look for the makers disks.....

I don't have ANY of the discs for it, and my computer is Compaq Presario....

Go compaq site<hp> and download the video drivers for it....
