Trojan Horse virus

  I hope this is not a dead issue.. :-[
but can anyone tell me how rid myself of the trojan horse virus? I use 'virus' for lack of better term. I am using windows 98 with AVG anti-virus free edition, I have run the virus scan several times and isolated the bad files, but I can't kill the beast... >:( If anyone here has any info or suggesttions let me know and I will go into deeper detail if needed...  :P

    Herb......Try this.....go to
    http://www.symantec.com/index.htm      and select the security check .......then use the check for viruses option .......
    It should get it ...
