    I can't watch videos on youtube

     Well..I'm running window 7 on a laptop with  Intel core duo CPU and 4 GB RAM[/b  .  whenever I tried to play a videos on youtube ,I get only a black square . I have installed the latest java and the latest adobe flash player ..still have the same problem , what is amazing is  that  I can watch videos on other sites  ??? Can you help please ?

           well.. I have adobe flash player 10 activex and adobe flash player 10 plugin installed .they are the latest I think ??

              Have you tried other browsers? What happens with IE, Opera, Safari?

                If flash player is installed on all browsers, try clearing the cache (in each browser) and rebooting. That's the only thing I can think of.

                Try Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode), or any browser with no addons.

                  I think you can contact the Youtube support for this issue. I have a similar problem before and contact with the support, they solve the problem.

                    Hi
                    I had the same problem with I.E 64 bit; it seems adobe is not compatible with it.

                    If you look under all programs you will see that it has I.E (64 bit) and also just I.E which I am guessing is the 32 bit version that will work with Adobe

                    Flash player is compatible with 64bit Windows, just not a 64bit browser. It will work in your standard IE.

                      Hi, this is a bit of a long shot and I don't know if you have tried this already.

                      When I had this problem in IE, I tried clearing the cache and temp files etc but that didn't work. I then reset the IE settings completely...

                      Tools>>Internet Options>>Advanced>>Reset

                      This actually worked for me, so just give it a go and see if you can get it working in IE first
