Couple questions.  If you purchase a song on one computer and Itunes backs up your purchases, why can't you download
to a second computer.  How can I download my playlists and reload them on a second computer without having to download the whole library???

    1) You have to authorize additional computers (up to 4 or 5) in itunes
    2) You can always just copy the playlists over

This is the most simple (and free) iPod backup tool I have found. It isn't really robust on features but if all you want to do is backup (copy) your music/pictures then it is perfect. http://www.getsharepod.com/
