ahh, this is that game assignment is it not?

Treval, why not ask the questions in the programming forum here?   :)
Exactly! Why waste your time at another forum where you don't get any service, when you could post here and know you will get help (reasonably) quickly.

Programming is not that easy. It often involves deep rooted, sequential, layered logical errors. Especially in big programs. =P

A huge part, maybe the most important part,  of programming is learning how to debug programs.  They very seldom work right the first time.  And you won't always have teachers to go to for advice.

You could set a end result for a program and 10 different people would code it 10 different ways.

I've spent hours and days debugging the same issues with BASeParser only to find it was a bug in one of my other libraries.

Of course the time wasn't wasted. I did find and fix hundreds of other issues that I thought might have been the root cause. heh.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

I'm looking forward to that..  :)   I'm glad you mentioned that you found bugs in the libraries.  I might not have considered that until after a while of grief  :P

I said, <My> other libraries  ;D

aside from the standard type of stuff you'd find with a 12 year old development environment, and aside from the fact that the basic "framework" VB6 provides is crap, I really cannot think of any bugs in the actual run-time or core stuff that I'd have to worry about.

 :(    right! sorry                 ;)

Haven't gotten into writing my own libraries yet.  Haven't even gotten into C++ classes yet, for that matter..  :P    Within the next couple weeks though...

Yes BC I'll try to ask the questions here.
Relatively fast? I don't know. People have their busy lives and sometimes I just need a quick response.

BC is like the friendliest programmer I've seen. =P
