You need Media Player software, a DVD drive, and driver software for your DVD drive which is compatible with your operating system.

If you lack any of those, please let us know what.

      Have you read the EULA?

You know you can go blind from watching "educational" DVDs?

Wow. that is the worst "redneck" translation I've ever seen. Not a single reference to possums.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

@OP: I googled your username, it looks like you've asked this same question on a different forum back on May 31, 2009.

Is this is really taking a year to fix, or is this a hit-and-run troll, or what?

I have not yet got the solution even I tried several suggestions. My PC can play DVD movies without problem. Only this kind of educational DVDs can not play audio and video at the same time. It plays audio file first and then video file.

I bought this Chinese language book & DVD from China.
I am using WindowsXP professional (English-version).
DVD is Chinese language educational dvd.
When I open the auto-run file, filename.exe is not chinese character( also not english, unidentify character).
Will this effect to play the DVD?
I also saved chinese font in the Windows-->font folder.
I have 2 DVD drive. One is internal and another one is external. Actually, My PC plays
this DVD audio file first and after palying audio file then play video file for the same chapter.
This means my DVD drive is no problem, work properly?
My PC can plays movies DVD without problem, Just this knid of educational DVD cannot play properly.
I think something lack in my PC.
I am also using windows Media player 11.
