computer turns off when play games

my computer turns off when i play games on it, it works for about 10 minutes but then it turns off and it didn't when i first bought the computer

Please, post some computer info:
- processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
- hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
- security programs in use (antivirus, firewall)

yeah, your computer probably had a 'fever' when you tried playing the games so it shut down to tell you it was sick but you didn't understand.

Im thinking your video card is overheating when your playing, install speedfan and post your temps.

I agree. If you can't install Speed Fan then get CPUZ's Hardware Monitor.
