I have "send to" on my copy on win7. When you right click on a file, do you not see "send to"?
with photos you cannot send from one file to another
not with photos you cannot send from one file to another
ok , i'm transferring and sorting photos and i want to send some of them from file "a" to file "B"
am i going 2 have to open 2 windows minimise and drag from one file to another
That does not make sense. Do you not know the difference between a file and a folder. File A remains file A regardless of what folder you put it in. Moving file A does not make it file B. Only renaming it would do that, and that's clearly not what you're talking about. Here's a reference that might help you understand the difference between a file and a folder: http://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia_term/0,2542,t=files+vs+folders&i=60967,00.asp
That's how I'd do it.Open one folder and press the windows key + the left arrow key. Open the other one and press the windows key + the right arrow button. They will be perfectly aligned, side by side.
yes , ( i must learn to right click with win7) ok it worked with documents but not with photos you cannot send from one file to another
jj 3000 thats the only way i can see to do it , it was very easy with XP
If you see the option to select a folder to Send to, this is probably because your right-click context menu has been modified from the default settings.
Every user has a Send To folder into which may be placed shortcuts, scripts etc. These appear in the Send To menu when an item is right clicked.
