    you tube

Hi  haven't been here in sometime but wanted to ask a question about YOU TUBE. I did have high speed internet but switched to reg to save $ BUT it seems any time I view YOU TUBE it is very slow or stops and I get that little circle going round and round, question is..........is there anyway to speed up YOU TUBE or am I stuck with this this way. Not that I see that much YOU TUBE, but I did see somewhere where some kind of installation helped with it. Its not that important that I want to put something on my OS that I don't need or may cause spam. Just curious, $ is tight and this really isn't that important but figured I would ask anyway. Thanks :)

If what you have now is a 56k dial-up modem your ability to view streaming video will usually produce the result you are experiencing. If your current financial situation dictates that you must be on dial up then your only option for good speed reception would be (if you have a laptop with wi-fi capability) is to go to locations where free wi-fi signal is available. Such as public libraries, etc. Of course you can use their computers (usually free of charge) but you will be time limited. Whereas if you bring your own you can set yourself up at a table and stay as long as you wish. If you opt for that option ensure you bring a headset so as not to cause a disturbance to other patrons of the library.
Given todays competition i find it strange that you cannot find a high speed DSL ISP provider for nearly the same cost as dial up. Unless you are in an area of few service providers. truenorth

Thank-you but not sure if this is answer. I do not have dial up...I switched back to just normal speed with my ISP. When you are single and not a healthy wage, you do what you must to save $ and by doing this I saved quite a bit
I say again,,,I did have highspeed but reduced down to normal not dial up. The U TUBES constantly stop and that little time out circle goes round. It is not a priority to have this A-OK but I thought I might ask about it  Guess I have my answer now. Thank-you all for any answers.

Try another browser  or update it  , or update your Adobe this could be also a problem for your speed. (Those $ :)) )

What speed do you have?  What speed does your ISP advertise for your cost, and what speed do you measure?

And before we get any further, it's called 'Youtube'.
