which Laptop is better Intel or AMD

I'm thinking of buying a new laptop. I want to use it for office work, and for watching HD movies. I haven't got any laptop yet so I don't know if AMD or Intel is better.

Any opinions?

neither Intel or AMD make laptops.

    @BC_programmer : i think the topic starter actually meant to ask...which laptop is better...the one with a amd processor or a intel processr!! :)

      Either one is cool with me. My first AMD was slow and buggy. (Because it was a cheap piece of crap.) But my desktop is running on a AMD Athlon II and I love it.

      I was using AMD Athlon II for my processor and I like it better than Intel. I don't know with other since it's just my opinion. ;D ;D
