Personally I think you need to specify the best free anti-virus software.

The best AV program I believe to be NOD32, however this is a paid product.
Free is a different story, Avast! seems to have the smallest memory footprint and the fastest loading times.

Geek - nothing personal but this same (or very similar) post  comes up once a month. And aside from that, mostly what you get are uninformed opinions.

hi geek , another av poll keep them coming its great to see so many

i have had norton , mcafee, avg  none of which were great , i had avira for a while and then went to mse which i thought was very good but i had to take it out , can't say why

now i have avast ( for the 2nd time ) and i'm very happy to stick with it

hope you start another poll soon
