    Weak Router Signal
    « on: January 17, 2011, 09:31:12 AM »
I believe I need a stronger router or a range booster.  My husband moved his computer to his shop right behind our house and now the router continually drops the connection.   Will the desk top adapter (D-Link) work with any brand router?

Most wireless 802.11g devices made recently should be compatible. You can use another D-Link router as a relay or boaster

Using a direct wire is preferred if there is metal and concrete in the way. You can pus a cable through a small opening .

But the use a another router requires less physical work. More mental work.
