Sending files from one diskdrive to another
    « on: July 20, 2011, 04:05:27 PM »
Help wanted with the sending of folders from one drive to the other. I have two harddisk drives one local drive called C of the size of 74.5 GB with only 140 MB space left and and D drive with 148 GB with still a free space of 132 GB.
I would like you to help me out how to send folders from one drive (C) to the other (d) to make some space free on the C drive.
    thank you for any help

Just curious, what drive letter is configured for you optical drive? (Usually the optical drive gets identity letter 'D').

I'M SORRY THE LETTER  D i REFERRED TO IS NOT OK. THIS SECOND DRIVE IS CALLED THE EXTERNAL DRIVE ON MY PC BECAUSE I HAD THE HARDDISK TAKEN OUT OF THIS EXTERNAL DRIVE AND PUT INTO THE PC ITSELF. ANYWAY I
HAVE TWO HARDDISK ONE C WHICH IS ALMOST USED TO ITS FULLEST CAPACITY AND THIS EXTERNAL DRIVE WITH LOTS OF GIUGAS LEFT. AS I DESCRIBED I WANT TO TAKE AS MANY FILES AND FOLDERS FROM MY C DRIVE AND STORE THESE IN THE EXTERNAL DRIVE.
