what operating system are you running because dos alone can connect. but dont take my work for it. :) :)

    I put this in the too hard basket but after a quick google
    "lynx for dos" it all looked a lot easier.

    Have a look at bobcat, it has a ported version of lynx which is a text only browser from linux and there's a dialer there too.
