A Google search on error (0x800CCC92) seems to mostly yield findings pertaining to Outlook, not Outlook Express.  So, please confirm that you mean Outlook Express, not Outlook.  They are not the same thing.  And, what version do you have?

I just turned my computer on a few minutes ago and outlook express is working the way it should.  I have no idea why it was doing that all day yesterday. I still think it had something to do with my server, but when I called them, they said no, so I was going to look further into it today... But thank you for responding

      Marjorie,
If you're still watching this forum, go into your O.E. folders and clean out the Inbox, Sent Items Folder, Deleted Items Folder and any others folders that are getting large.  I've seen Outlook Express lock up, because folders are too large to load into memory.

When outlook express goes wonky on my own PC, I just reboot the PC and it's usually OK.

      Good Luck,

It seemed to correct itself. I think it was on the server's end, but they won't admit it lol... I have no idea why it happened, or why it is now working..
